Incorporated in May 2003, Ceylinco Selna Limited engages in Real Estate and Property Development. Ceylinco Selna Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Ceylinco Securities & Financial Services Limited, a company known for its successes in the real estate sphere.

Apart from real estate development and the construction of homes, Ceylinco Selna Limited engages in property exchange, management, financing and broking activities. Therefore, the Company is in effect a total property solutions provider.

Through the Company’s property trading activities it has earned high returns in the last financial year alone. Among the real estate projects completed in Financial Year 2003/2004 are the Homagama Real Estate Project at an investment of LKR 38.4mn and the Borelasgamuwas Real Estate Project at a total investment of LKR 60.5mn.

Among the on-going projects is a LKR 14.6mn housing project in Madiwela, Kotte and LKR 54.4mn real estate project in Malabe.

Ceylinco Selna Limited has a capable team of professionals who are widely experienced in their respective fields. The Company is dedicated to further strengthening its 19-cadre team by providing continuous training and instruction.

With a successful first year behind it, Ceylinco Selna Limited envisions further diversification within the real estate industry to encompass Township Development, Highway Developments, and Infrastructure Development in the future. Furthermore, Ceylinco Selna Limited hopes to expand its services to the high-growth Tourism Industry.

Among the Company’s near-term objectives are the expansion of services to other parts of the country in the form of a branch network and the expansion of services outside Sri Lanka. In the local setting, the Company hopes to expand to Kandy, Kurunegala and Matara while international expansion plans include the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.

The main sponsor of Ceylinco Selna Limited is Ceylinco Securities & Financial Services Limited (CSFSL), which is a reputed financial organization that engages in capital investments, merchant banking & related financial services, real estate development & trading, share trading & money broking, and foliage export. Furthermore, among the financial services provided by CSFSL are corporate finance related services, secretarial, legal, and credit related services.

Incorporated in July 1987, Ceylinco Securities & Financial Services Limited obtained official listing on the Colombo Stock Exchange in March 1994. In July 1994 CSFSL acquired controlling interest of Asian Finance Limited, which specialised in leasing and real estate services, enabling CSFSL to broaden its activities further.

Further acquisitions in later years enabled CSFSL to expand its activities to include money broking, share trading, and land exchanging. Moreover, the Company incorporated a BOI approved company to engage in township development and another to engage in the export of foliage.

CSFSL currently has eight branches located in strategic cities around the island.
